The new Twingo Gordini Renaultsport will go on sale in March 2010
It’s only a couple of weeks since we reported that Renault are going to revive the Renault Gordini badge for a new range of sporty cars, a report that was followed a few days later with a confirmation from Renault, and the news that the Twingo Gordini Renaultsport would be the first to launch. And Renault has now revealed the first of the Gordini cars. The new Twingo Gordini stays faithful to the heritage of the Gordini moniker with a Fench Blue paint job, white stripes and quilted leather.
Given the array of new cars at motor shows, it's often difficult to pick one as the overall star of the show. While, in theory, there appears to have been a glut of new concept and production cars to choose from in Frankfurt, in reality there were less than a handful of marked standout designs. Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (2011) - t started as expected... The Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi is certainly a spectacular venue. It doesn’t yet have the soul of the traditional F1 circuits in Europe, but it is a special race (the only day-night race in the F1 calendar) especially for the 2011 World Champion Sebastian Vettel, who is the only man to have ever won on the circuit.
